The College is committed to providing a Christlike environment as all aspects of the College’s education, staff and leadership have a Christian focus.
Staff
Principal Margaret Engeman has been involved in Victory Church for many years and provides a strong Christian lead for the College, students and staff.
Teaching and administration staff are active Christians involved in all aspects of Church life.
Leadership
Pastor George Miller is the head of the Victory Complex comprising Victory Church, Victory College and Chatz café. As Senior Pastor he leads Victory Church and is actively involved with student pastoral care, this extends to the whole family unit.
Ps George Miller is also a member of the Ministers Fraternal for Cooloola Shire which comprises all denominations.
Ps Peter Rodriguez is the Associate Pastor of Victory Church and the Financial Administrator of the College.
Victory Missions
Ps Rodriguez and his wife Christine also oversee the Victory Missions program in Papua New Guinea and have been running mission trips (medical clinics, school building, church planting) for over 10 years.
Students who are inspired by the rewarding nature of community involvement and show a passion for overseas aid and ministry works are given the opportunity to be part of a mission team. For more information email Ps Peter on takeaction@victorymissionspng.org
Chapel
Each week all students together attend Chapel. The format varies each week and may include guest speakers, films and student involvement.
The aim is to inspire, entertain, inform and challenge students and above all to encourage a deeper relationship with God.
Christian Studies
All students take Christian Studies run by retired Minister Ross Davies, who as well as being a registered teacher has over twenty years experience as a Minister.
Mr Davies has an excellent rapport with students and is also actively involved with the pastoral care of students.
The course curriculum has been designed to give students opportunity to explore the Bible, reflect on life issues from a Christian point of view and develop their faith in God. |
