Established in 1980 first work began on the original 20 acre property, the old Gympie cattle yards almost 30 years ago. The College had humble beginnings as Gympie Christian Academy, with just 2 teachers, 2 teacher aides and 36 students. The first classroom actually doubled as the church for Christian Outreach Centre. The classroom was set up each Sunday evening and packed up each Friday afternoon.

By 1982 due to the increasing demand for quality Christian education the College numbers had grown steadily and the College was able to employ an administrator and additional staff.

Under new and exciting Pastoral leadership in 1995 the College changed their curriculum from ACE to the current Queensland State Education curriculum incorporating a Biblical world view.

Following this an additional 5 acres was purchased and many of the buildings were refurbished and a new science and home economics block built as well as a state of the art Early Childhood Centre, manual arts and art room.

The name Victory College was introduced in 1999 this year also saw a change of uniform and new College crest and logo.

Over the past decade the College has grown in numbers to over 300, this is strong testament to the quality care and education provided to students and the vision and dedication of the leadership team.

This same vision, dedication and commitment is what will allow Victory College to continue to provide only the best education and development to students without compromise as we expand into the future.

2010 is another exciting milestone year as we see the completion of the new building development which includes a new library, international size sport's stadium and language centre.

We are committed to the future and to the education of our future generations.
