Victory College prides itself on providing students with the best facilities right through their education with us. From their first day in the ECC through to graduation day they will have access to the latest technology and learning environment.
Upgrades are being planned for the future which will include the Science and Home Economics Labs as well as new outdoor under cover basket ball courts.
Students take classes across a number of purpose built classrooms, labs and studios.
Manual Arts Studio
The fully equipped manual arts facility was opened in 2002 complete with up-to-date equipment including bench drill, drill press, lathe and bench saw.
Students are encouraged to design their own projects completing pieces that both interest them and challenge their skills.
The spacious workshop style environment is a significant step away from conventional classroom based facilities of the past and is designed to give students a real life work experience setting.
Technology Room
The modern, air conditioned Computer Laboratory consists of 25 networked computers. All computers are fitted and protected by Content Keeper hardware the same used by the Australian Defence Force. This is updated hourly ensuring your child’s protection and safety whilst using this resource. The College’s computers were all replaced in 2008 and operate the latest in software programs.
Visual Art Studio
The Visual Art Studio provides students from Years 7-12 with the chance to practice art in a creative, natural environment.
The Visual Art department focuses on offering students the chance to play, make, create, appreciate and experience the visual arts from a variety of cultures and historical periods.
The studio is well resourced and equipped and includes a full sized kiln.
Science Lab
The science labs will be upgraded during the future building program; lab facilities will be completely refurbished and doubled in size such is the demand for the science subjects on offer, a reflection of the College.
Home Economics and Textiles Lab
Home Economics at Victory College is offered to students in Years 7-12.
A new purpose built Home Economics and Textiles lab is part of the future building program.
This upgrade will allow the current Science Lab to take over the existing Home Economics space; doubling the current number of work areas, student capacity and floor size of both facilities. |
