Victory College students are required to wear the full uniform to and from College and during College hours. The uniform is to be worn with pride and respect and parents/carers are asked to encourage and foster this in students.
Purchase of Uniform
At time of enrolment a complete uniform set will need to be purchased, it is compulsory to wear all elements of the Victory College uniform as oultined in the uniform requirements and guidelines.
All uniform items except for school and sports shoes are to be purchased from the College uniform shop.
Uniform Shop Opening Hours
The Uniform Shop is open Wed 8.30am-3.00pm and is located in D Block, Ms Cheree Smith runs the shop and can be contacted at the College on 0754 828206.
Out-of-uniform Policy
Out-of-uniform in any form is not acceptable unless a genuine signed note from parents or guardian is provided. Students in breech of the uniform policy will be reprimanded and asked to either remove any non-approved uniform item such as jewellery or if the breech is considered severe may be sent home. In any case in the absence of a genuine signed note from parents, parents will be contacted and asked to resolve the uniform problem; failure to do so may result in the Student’s absence from College.
The only clothing that is to be visible is the approved College uniform, this is not negotiable.
Hair Colour and Styles
Hair colour should be kept a natural colour – any stark contrasting or un-natural colours , streaks or shaved hair tracks are not acceptable. Any student with hair that breeches the policy will be sent home and parents notified. The Student will be required to rectify the breech, where this is not possible the student may face detention or be required to wear the College hat at all times.
Long hair is to be kept neat and tied back at all times.
Boys’ hair is to be kept short, clean and above the collar line at all times.
Jewellery
One earring is allowed per earlobe that is to be a plain gold or silver stud or small traditional sleeper. No earrings with stones are acceptable.
No body jewellery of any description is allowed.
