Victory College welcomes and encourages parents who want to volunteer to be involved in college life by assisting in various activities throughout the year.
Some ways in which you can support the College are:
- Help out with the tuckshop
- Coach a sports team
- Assist the younger classes with swimming
- Cover books for the library
- Read to children and assist with reading groups
- Listen to spelling and marking tests
- Help with maths groups
- Generally help with children in the classroom
- Work on particular skills with one or two children under the direction of the teacher- e.g. maths concepts like time, money etc.
- Share your skills with small groups or classes
- Make flashcards and charts as directed by the teachers
- Help children with their writing and with project work
- Assist with excursions and camps where required
- Assist children on the computers with word processing
- Plus many others
